Dia dhuit!!

Hello everyone!! I hope you all had a great week! :) It's been a CRAZY busy week, but I've also seen so many miracles happen this week!
Monday- We went down to Cork for Pday and were able to have a four on four game of Frisbee and soccer!! It was so nice to get out and run again, I miss sport haha! We went back to Waterford that night with Elder Anderson so we could all ride together to All-Ireland, which was Tuesday. He's a really cool guy and it was awesome to get to know him better!
Tuesday- We woke up and 5:30 and headed down to Dublin for All-Ireland! It was such an amazing meeting. We focused a lot on how to be a Christ-Centered mission, and it just helped me to see the reason behind being out here. It should all be out of love! It really was amazing, and I'm so grateful for the Savior and all he did to show us the way.
Wednesday- We were able to meet with Lisa today and talk more about her baptism. She is really beginning to know what we teach her is true, and it's amazing to see! We have finally figured out everything for the date of the baptism, and it will be the 23rd of September! We will be able to have her and Kristen baptised together, and we're so excited for them both! We also met with a man named Joseph. We met with him one of our first weeks here. He is a Bahai, which is a very strange religion. We talked with him, but he really just wants to talk and isn't interested in the message we share. He did read Elder Carlisle's hand while we were there though, so that was interesting haha! That night we again went down to Cork so we could go on exchanges with the zone leaders the next day.
Thursday- I was on Exchanges with Elder Jones. He is from Wales, and actually goes home this transfer! He is an great guy and even better missionary! We found for most of the day, but it really didn't seem long at all! We did teach one lesson, and it rocked face!! We taught the restoration to a girl named Pollyann, and she loved it! The spirit was so strong, and it was honestly just an amazing teaching experience for me! That night we headed back down to Waterford, so ya we traveled a lot this week!
Friday- We were able to meet with Kristen and Stella in the Ryan's home in the afternoon. It was a great lesson, and Kristen remembers a lot from being taught before she went back to China! We are looking forward to seeing her a few more times this week, and having her be interviewed for baptism this Saturday! She is just so prepared, and we're so glad we have the chance to teach her!
Saturday- Our first meeting was with our less active friend David and his friend Jerome. David brought up some questions about the Plan of Salvation, so we were able to talk to them both more about the Plan of Salvation, and how the Book of Mormon can help us to understand that more. They want to continue meeting with us, so that should be good! In the afternoon we were supposed to meet with Lisa and a man named Jonathan, but both fell through. So we were left to jsut finding. But there was ANOTHER freaking festival in Waterford, I swear there's one every week! So that made finding really hard. We were trying to figure out what to do next as we were walking, and we just stopped a guy and GQ'd him. He said he was from France, a Muslim, but was free right then to talk more! So we walked with him to a park and taught him the Restoration. he seemed to enjoy it, accepted a Book of Mormon, and even accepted the baptismal invitation! It was just a reminder to me that the Lord is really looking out for us at all times!!
Sunday- Today was another testimony to me that fasting work!! It was fast Sunday today for our branch, and so I fasted that the members would be a little more involved in missionary work, among other things. First miracle, Pres Thompson (Counselor in the mission presidency) came down and interviewed Lisa for baptism, and she passed! So that was amazing! Second one, we get there and the Espejo's, an Argentinian family in the ward, had a mom and two kids sitting with them. We figured they were just relatives, as they looked similar, but then Sis Espejo came and told us it was a friend of hers that is interested in joining the church!! We will be seeing them at the Espejo's house on Thursday, and honestly that was the most amazing thing to see them reaching out like that! Pres Thompson and Pres Ryan both bore testimony about how the members need to help us in our efforts, and so after church we had a ton of members coming to us for dinner appointments and other things, so that was so good to see! And the last crazy miracle of the day, in the morning we got a text from a girl saying she wanted to talk about joining our church. We thought it was someone joking around with us, but we set an appointment with her for last night. We show up at the park and the only person there is a lady in her 20's and her dog. We thought this can't be her, but sure enough it was! Her name is Alanna, and she stumbled across mormon.org while looking at some type of anti stuff I guess. She got our number from the sisters on there, and she said she was thinking of joining! So we said we'd love to keep meeting with her and gave her a BoM. So all in all, Fasting works!!
I just want to say something about all the natural disasters going on over in the US. I know this can seem like a really scary time, but the Lord promises us something in John 14:27 that can help us through these times. "Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid." For those that are living worthy of the companionship of the spirit, we are promised peace!! I know that I've felt it in my life, and that all of you can as you strive to follow our Savior. I love you all and hope you have an amazing week!!
