R.I.P. The Deise

Hello Friends and Family!! I don't have as much time to write this week, so I'm just gonna give some highlights.
First our investigator Lisa is doing amazing!! We're still working with her to helo her understand everything, and she is scheduled to be baptised the 16th! She truly does love the church, and we know she's gonna be so solid. Another highlight of the week came in our first lesson with a girl named Kristen. She is a friend of Stella, our Chinese recent convert, who took the lessons before she went back home to China for the summer. She is now back studying at the university here, and we were able to have an amazing first lesson with her. She asked all the right questions, and accepted the invitation to be baptised! We can't wait to continue meeting with her and helping her come to know for herself that what we're talking about is true.
Funny story for the week, we were talking with one of our local friends Michael one day when a 10 year old kid comes up and says "Ask me what are those." So I asked What are those. "Something you'll never afford." And he walks away! We were all dying laughing, it was just the randomest thing! Sunday we also got to go down again to Limerick to have a District Conference. There was an area 70 there, Elder Defayo, and he gave an amazing talk about faith. It was an amazing meeting, and I loved hearing from all the inspired speaker there. Sunday evening was the All-Ireland Hurling finals, and this was the first time that Waterford has made it in like 60 years. So the entire town was either in the city square or in pubs watching the game. It was CRAZY!! All week people have been putting up banner and flags and signs for Waterford. Sadly, they lost... so we heard everyone drinking away their sorrows that night haha! Waterford's nickname is the Deise, in case you were wondering what the heck the subject of the email was haha.
Well guys if there's one thing I learned this week, it's that the church is true!! I love this church, and the truths it teaches! I love you all, and hope you have a great week!!
