High School Superlatives are Real

Hello everyone!! This week has been so crazy, so I'll do my best to sum it all up.
So last Monday I was in Dublin all day helping with moves. I ended up with another Elder that 1. his companion missed the ferry from Scotland and wouldn't be there till 9 that night and 2. forgot his phone on the bus to Dublin. So that made for an exciting day of trying to find a phone and his companion! That night there were 8 missionaries all staying at the Zone Leaders flat there in Dublin, so that was an adventure. Tuesday morning we woke up at 3:30 to all have time to shower, get dressed, and get to the airport in time to catch our flight to Edinburgh. When we flew in, we were picked up and brought to the mission home. Then we were in meetings all day. From 8 in the morning till 6 at night we were getting instruction on how to be a trainer, and then we also sat in on the orientation meeting for the new trainees. I got assigned my trainee, and his name is Elder Barlow! He's a great guy! That evening we went finding in Endinburgh, and then went back to sleep at the mission home. Wednesday morning we woke up, and then I had the daunting task of driving one of the brand new mission cars across Scotland to the ferry in Stranraer. We ferried across, and then switched cars in Belfast. The new car went to the senior couple there, and we got our car back from them. Then We had to drive from Belfast (top of Ireland) to Waterford (bottom of Ireland). Needless to say, it was a REALLY long and stressful day, especially since I had to drive the whole time and I've been in this country 3 months! Sadly, on the motorway in Dublin, we were in a minor accident. But just a little damage was done to the front bumper, and none to the other car. And yes I know, I didn't earn the worst driver in the school for nothing! We finally were able to get back to Waterford Wednesday night. we weren't able to get much work done, however, cause my new companion wasn't feeling to well. But we were able to meet with a referral we got from Taiwan! She loved the message, and committed to be baptised on the 28th! And also last night we were invited over for a Canadian thanksgiving dinner by a college student and her friends! Apparently Canada has thanksgiving in October?? Had no idea haha, but it was cool as we got to have this big dinner with a bunch of college student our age! They were from all over th world, and it was nice to be able to talk with them and share a little bit about what we do as missionaries! So ya a pretty crazy and hectic week, but I'm looking forward to getting out and getting to work this week!
