Hey everyone!! I hope you've all had a great week! This week for us has flown by, and we saw so many miracles through it all!! At the beginning of the week we were able to go on exchanges with the Beith Elders again, and this time I was with Elder Gregory! I love that kid so much, and we had an amazing exchange! First off, we were out chapping some doors before we went and met with Nathan, and someone let us right in! We went in and taught a little bit about the Holy Ghost, and he gave us his number and said we could come back! Then we went and met with Nathan. He told us how he was having some second thoughts after talking to someone from his old church. But Elder Gregory and I were able to talk to him and help reassure him of the experiences he'd had. Then Elder Gregory asked him if he could give him a blessing to help him. That was such a powerful experience, and we came out of that lesson on a spiritual high!! It was sooo cool, and I loved the whole exchange!! So the beginning of the week was great!!
The rest of the week was mostly teaching Nathan, and trying to find new investigators to help fill up our teaching pool after Nathan got baptised haha! We have a few good appointments set up for this week, so we're excited for that!! The highlight of the week was when we were able to see the baptism of our friend Nathan! It was an amazing service, and I was able to be the one to baptise him. I'm so grateful for covenants and the chance that we all have to renew our promise to God every week when we take the Sacrament! Yesterday Nathan was confirmed, and sustained a new member of the ward! Nathan is soo solid, and is now looking forward to receiving the priesthood, and doing baptisms in the temple. So all in all, this has been an amazing week!!
Quickly I'd just like to share my thoughts with everyone on the Book of Mormon. The Book of Mormon is one the greatest gifts God has given us in these latter days! In the Book of Mormon we can find the fullness of the everlasting gospel, and are able to better understand God's will for each of us. I hope you are all able to take to time to read from it daily. The blessing we receive from this are HUGE! I love the Book of Mormon, and love being able to spend time every day in it's pages!! I love you all, and hope you have a great week!!
